About Exiled From America

Born in Michigan in 1973, I attended high school in Battle Creek and graduated from Central Michigan University with a degree in journalism in 1996. I’ve worked in the media software business since 1998. I’ve lived all over Michigan and lived in Las Vegas from 2008 until moving to Mexico (hopefully) in 2020.

What is it like to feel forced to leave your country of birth?

I don’t know, but I’m finding out and I’m going to use this site to share it with you as it’s happening. My wife and I are selling or giving away our belongings, selling our house and moving to Mexico as soon as possible, hopefully immediately after the 2020 Presidential election regardless of the outcome. I’m going to post about why we’ve decided to do this and after we get to Mexico will have a lot to share about what it’s like to be exiled from the only country I’ve ever called home.
